A revolutionary micro workcell is extremely compact and will endform and bend tube with mandrel while being fed with tube from a coil. In less than 10m2, we have three machines and a robot. The first machine straightens the tube and cuts it to length. The FANUC robot takes the tube with its gripper and, depending on the required cycle loads the bending machine (SMALL2E) and then loads the endforming machine (S2086) equipped with a double-sided clamp which will allow forming of both ends of the tube, starting from bent tube and straight tube.
This kind of solution represents a radical innovation which provides considerable advantages for example to air conditioning sector.
